Vukovar - The restored Eltz castle open in Vukovar
One of the most beautiful symbols of the city of Vukovar, the Baroque Eltz castle, has recently opened its gates after years of refurbishment. During the Homeland war and the aggression upon Vukovar and Croatia, the castle was completely destroyed.
New air lines reach Croatia in 2012

Hvar among the top ten regions
In a special edition of the most famous world travel guide Lonely Planet with an overview of the best world destinations and trends that should be visited in 2012, the island of Hvar came in 5th among the top 10 towns and regions, instead od Istria which came in second last year.
